Dr. Sheila Rao is a board certified primary care pediatrician working at Lakeview's offices in St. Clair Shores and Macomb Township. She graduated from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College in India, and completed her pediatric residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in 2004, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Rao was in private practice on the west side of town prior to joining Cornerstone Pediatrics in 2006. She is on staff at St. John Hospital Medical Center.
Dr. Rao provides quality health care for infants, children and young adults from birth to 21 years of age. We encourage parents to choose a primary physician for their child's well care, but understand that in the case of same-day sick visits you will be able to see an alternate physician. We pride ourselves in providing personal and friendly care while keeping abreast of the most current advances in pediatric health.
