Ernesto R. Drelichman, MD, FACS, Jasneet Bhullar, MD, FACS, and Gautham Chitragari, MD, FACRS, are board certified and fellow trained Colon & Rectal Surgeons and specializes in management of diseases of the colon. They specialize in prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of colon cancer and treatment of colon disorders, rectal disorders, and perianal disorders. Colorectal Cancer Screening is a major focus for Dr. Drelichman and Dr Bhullar.  This initiative is to prevent more cancers and save lives through early detection with Colonoscopy.

Our surgeons performs multiple procedures in the office and outpatient setting. They provide  Minimally Invasive Surgery whenever possible to allow our patients to return to their normal activities of daily living. They are on staff at Henry Ford Macomb-Oakland Hospital, Henry Ford Providence Hospitals (Southfield and Novi campuses), and Henry Ford Rochester Hospital.

It is a matter of great pride and accomplishment that our pioneering research on MRI compatible sacral nerve stimulator for the treatment of fecal incontinence  has been awarded the “best oral presentation” at the international conference of fecal incontinence and obstructive defecation FIOD, The top international conference on pelvic floor disorders was held in Rome, Italy from November 12th – 14th, 2022.

This is a landmark study done at Ascension Providence and included other multiple universities. It is the first study to report outcomes and efficacy of MRI compatible sacral nerve simulators for treatment of fecal incontinence.  Dr Jasneet Bhullar traveled to Rome to accept to present this landmark study and to receive the award.
